Professional qualifications and registration

You can have confidence in Help for Care as any staff involved in supporting you will be qualified and registered with the appropriate professional body.  Although Kerry runs Help For Care on her own, she will sometimes call on speciliast professionals to work with her. Any staff working through Help For Care have current CRB checks in place and will arrive at your property with photgraphic ID. 

For all staff there is a committment to continued professional development, attending seminars and training courses where appropriate.

Help for Care Manager, Kerry Rowlatt, is a Qualified Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (Reg no. SW66434)

Kerry has a special interest in Mental Capacity, supporting people to make decision for themselves where possible and to make best interest decisions for those who can’t.  She has worked in services for Older People, Adults with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Sensory Impairment.

Kerry also offers training to Care Homes around Mental Capacity, Best Interest and Person Centred Care and has trained Senior Staff in Local Authorities to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities when Depriving someone of their Liberty in Homes or Hospitals.
