Working with Physical and Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs

Help For Care has experience working with adults with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. 

The team specialise in supporting individuals in their own home who are Deprived of their Libery, undertaking the Rule 1.2 Representative role for individuals requiring independent scrutiny and support. 

Help For Care undertake Best Interest Assessments under the Deprivation Of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) for Adults with a range of physical and mental health needs.

The Team have worked with individuals with many physical health conditions such as Athritis, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's and Stroke. 

Kerry was also commissioned to help set up a local Sensory Needs Service in West Berkshire when the Unitary Authorities disbanded.  This gave an insight in to working with Sight and Hearing Impaired clients and Kerry passed her level 1 British Sign Language Training, although this is a little rusty these days!
