Professional qualifications and registration

You can have confidence in Help for Care as any staff involved in supporting you will be qualified and registered with the appropriate professional body.  Kerry runs Help For Care with a small experienced team, hand picked by Kerry, as the Help For Care name is and will always be one that you can trust to provide the best for you and your relatives. Any staff working through Help For Care have current DBS checks in place and will arrive at your property with photographic ID. 

For all staff there is a commitment to continued professional development, attending seminars and training courses where appropriate.

Help for Care Owner, Kerry Rowlatt, is a Qualified Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor registered with Social Work England (Reg no. SW66434)

Kerry has a special interest in Mental Capacity, supporting people to make decision for themselves where possible and to make best interest decisions for those who can’t.  She has worked in services for Older People, Adults with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Sensory Impairment.

Kerry also offers training to Care Homes around Mental Capacity, Best Interest and Person Centred Care and has trained Senior Staff in Local Authorities to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities when Depriving someone of their Liberty in Homes or Hospitals.
